NYSW 2019 Training

­­­TRAINING SESSIONS FOR NYSW 2019

To teachers, activity directors, school administrators, and leaders of youth organizations,

We invite you to join us in engaging youth in Lebanon, ages 5-25, in planning and implementing sustainable service projects in your local communities and elsewhere in Lebanon for National Youth Service Week 2019 (April 6-14). Our campaign seeks to empower youth and give them the opportunity to make a positive difference in their society. Our approach is to provide free training to adult and youth leaders of groups and classes on:

  • How to Plan and Implement a Project
  • What is Sustainable Service
  • How to Participate in National Youth Service Week

We provide certificates to trainees who register in advance and attend the full training session.

You can learn more at www.nysw-lebanon.org/?q=nysw or in Arabic, www.nysw-lebanon.org/?q=ar/nysw. We will be providing training workshops in different areas of Lebanon between now and March 4th to give the youth time to plan their projects before the Pre-Project Form is due (March 25th).

  • Saida – Arabic – Wednesday, February 27: 10:30-1:00 pm Municipality of Saida
  • Beirut: - English – Thursday, February 28: 4-6:30 pm AUB - closed session
  • Beirut: Parallel sessions Arabic and English: Friday, March 1 3:30-6 pm, AUST rooms B402 and B403
  • Baakline, Shouf - Arabic Saturday, March 2, 10:00 am - 12:30 pm, Municipality of Baakline  
  • Batrumin, Koura - English Monday, March 4, 3:30-6:00 pm, International School of Koura
